WHO WE ARE
The Instituto LEAL-M Opinião e Mercado (LEAL-M Opinion and Market Institute)
was founded in 1991 by sociologist Márcio Nogueira, who leads it until the
present. He has a post-graduation in Marketing Administration from Fundação
João Pinheiro (João Pinheiro Foundation), which is an institution created
and maintained by the government of the state of Minas Gerais. It has among
its objectives the formation of high level professionals and executives. The
Institute’s staff of collaborators is made up of respected professional with
degrees in sociology, statistics, management, IT, psychology and law. They
are experienced in qualitative and quantitative research.
WHERE WE ARE
The Instituto LEAL-M Opinion and Market has its main office in Belo
Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais, which is the second largest economy
in the country. Belo Horizonte, together with Curitiba and Brasília are the
three cities that best reflect the Brazilian population’s consumption habits.
Besides that, it has a privileged location, equidistant from Rio de Janeiro,
São Paulo and Brasília with easy air and road communication with the
country’s main cities. The growth of Minas Gerais state is currently higher
than the nation’s. This makes the Institute constantly seek the perfection
of its services so as to continue as an active participant in this
development process.
OUR COMMITMENT
The main commitment of the Instituto LEAL-M Opinion and Market is the
quality of its data collection and of processing and analyses of the
information gathered. Without that, it would be impossible to keep the
innumerable clients it has in Minas Gerais, Brazil and many other countries.

OUR STRUCTURE
Since its establishment the Instituto LEAL-M Opinion and Market maintains a
structure that allows it to carry out all market, public opinion and
political research. To attend its clients in Brazil and other countries it
possesses logistic and personnel support in the main Brazilian cities.
OUR OBJECTIVE
Research projects of the Instituto LEAL-M Opinion and Market has as its main
focus the elaboration of correct, objective and clear questions. Nothing is
more useless than the right answer to the wrong question. It is also useless
to obtain information and not be able to use it. Due to that, its research
is oriented at decision-taking striving to exceed clients’ expectations for
each and every research.
